Montana Bunkhouse Facilities
Handicapped Lodging is Available
The Bunkhouse
Located at the ranch headquarters, the Bunkhouse formerly housed cowboys who worked on the ranch. It has been remodeled and is now handicapped accessible.
There are two independent rooms that each have two double beds and two single beds. Dishes, flatware, cooking utensils, microwave, coffee pot, hot plate, toaster oven, dishpan, and linens are provided.
Since this is a primitive bunkhouse there is no running water. Potable water is available at the ranch house. There is an outhouse.
Bring a jacket, as summer nights are cool. A fire ring is available for your use.
Paradise Cabin
The Paradise Cabin was built in 1905 as a community hall. Later, it was converted to a school house, and then a spacious two bedroom cabin.
Two bedrooms each have a queen and a double bed. A crib, a portable crib, and a high chair are provided for little ones. In additon, in the great room, a couch and a day bed will each sleep one person.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a living room all combined into a "great room". An extra refrigerator and a big chest freezer provide room for extra food.
The 3/4 bathroom has a washer and dryer. Nights in the summer are always cool so bring a jacket. There is a fire ring.
