Fiber Art Classes in Knitting, Spinning, and Felting

Classes are offered in knitting, spinning, felting, and rug hooking.  You will make yarn, a small knitting item, a hooked project, or a felted mat.  The wool for the classes is from sheep raised on the ranch, except for the rug hooking which uses mostly recycled wool fabric.  Classes are usually for a day.  Week long or weekend retreats to learn these fiber arts are offered while you stay here.  Classes are $15.00 per day plus a small materials fee.

Jackie has been a fiber artist for many years and enjoys teaching others about her special fiber arts.

The sweater to the left is a self design using hand spun natural color wool and wool from a dye pot experiment.  It took a few years to decide how to use the dye pot wool.  These colors will never, unless by accident, be replicated.
